What’s the return on investment (ROI) for TeleManager?
Typically break-even represents 1-3% of invoiced costs. As such return on investment (ROI) occurs in less than 12-months. The five-year ROI is between 300-500% for most enterprise clients.
My current telecom management software doesn’t work as promised, what can I do?
Unfortunately, telecom expense management solutions do not always perform as advertised or offer insufficient support. If you are not satisfied with your current solution, please contact us immediately. EteleSolv will ensure a smooth transition toward a solution that will satisfy your requirements.
How long does it take to install TeleManager?
This varies according to the scope and internal challenges faced by the customer. EteleSolv’s clients range in size from 500-120,000 services. As such, installation can take from 2-12 months as we work to help clean the inventory data and establish best-practises for telecom management.
Do you work with any carrier invoices?
Most major carriers are already mapped to TeleManager. EteleSolv is constantly adding new carriers as needed. The process to add a new carrier takes about 1-2 weeks depending on complexity and format of the data.
What does EteleSolv do on a monthly basis?
EteleSolv primary role is to ensure invoice data is posted properly to our Client TeleManager servers. As data format and method of retrieval differs by Carrier and Client, EteleSolv simplifies this process on behalf of our Clients to ensure that everything is cleaned and accurate. Beyond invoice loading, EteleSolv provides application support, data cleansing, system monitoring, as well as back-up processing.
Can TeleManager be used to manage Wireless?
Yes. There are multiple wireless-specific tools, including a rate plan optimizer. Many customers start with TeleManager for wireless management and slowly add additional asset types.
Can TeleManager be used to manage PBX / Centrex / Toll Free / Long Distance
Yes.
Can TeleManager track non-telecom assets?
Yes. Although designed for telecom, TeleManager can be used effectively to manage multiple types of assets with variable or fixed monthly costs. These include leased assets, low traffic data assets, service contracts, or software licenses.
Can I do internal chargeback by department or by employee?
Yes. TeleManager is extremely powerful in helping companies automate the internal chargeback process. This includes fixed chargeback, as well as partial or pro-rata chargeback.
If I start with Wireless can I add other assets types like VoIP, PBX or data lines later?
Yes. TeleManager is the same solution whether you are managing a single asset type or twenty. A onetime integration cost may be required to on-board additional asset inventory. Additional licensing may be necessary should you exceed your asset limit on your current package.
Does TeleManager reduce my invoice cost?
TeleManager provides the control and cost visibility for better and faster decision making. Decisions to change rate plans or de-activate services are up to the client, however TeleManager providers the functions to complete these operations with just a few clicks.
Can you provide Call Detail Recording (CDR)?
Yes. TeleManager offers a cost effective option for CDR on PBX and VoIP systems.
We have an asset management system already, how would TeleManager work for us?
TeleManager complements these systems by operating as a ‘best-of-breed’ system for telecom management. Our technology has been tuned to allow clients to achieve telecom specific advantages. More general asset management systems provide higher-level management but are not effective for telecom management. Our approach is to synchronize TeleManager with these systems in order to leverage existing integration and unify reporting.
Will TeleManager reduce labour and other processing problems?
Yes. TeleManager immediately improves processing time for a number of data sources. Many clients, who are using Excel or in-house built systems, will see a dramatic reduction in time spent on data entry, reporting, chargeback, changes, and troubleshooting.
In which languages is TeleManager available?
English and French.

How is TeleManager different?
"TeleManager is designed primarily as a software tool to help customers gain control over massive amounts of information flowing internally and between carriers and vendors. In essence, TeleManager is a large centralized database. Our philosophy centers on maintaining this database by addressing all areas of change: HR, cost centers, invoicing, service tickets, etc. An accurate telecom inventory is difficult to attain and we believe this the root problem of spiralling telecom costs. Many telecom consultants are simply not equipped or qualified to provide the level of systems integration required to ensure inventory control. Many use Excel or Access-based tools. For EteleSolv, an accurate inventory is at the heart of efficient telecom management. "
How does TeleManager maintain accurate inventory?
TeleManager is based on years of research, and patent-pending advancements to “real-time inventory management”. This process ensures that data is integrated across carrier, supplier, and customer sources. All transactions (MACD) are based within TeleManager, ensuring traceability, accountability, and audit-ability of all sources.
How is TeleManager sold?
This differs according to each customer and channel partner. All clients are subject to an implementation fee that differs by size and scope of the installation. Monthly fees are on a per unit basis for clients with less than 2000 assets. For clients with over 2000 assets, EteleSolv provides packaged, flat pricing.
What is EteleSolv’s unique business model?
"EteleSolv has long been credited with fixing complex problems using web technology. This includes e-commerce, B2B portals and supply chain solutions. Our approach differs from many TEM suppliers. We believe the customer’s internal operational challenges are often a cause for problems with carriers. In traditional contingency consulting, professionals audit invoices for a large onetime cost cut. This has been proven to gain temporary cost savings for customers, however, as no process changes have been made, clients return to their current model and end up repeating this process annually. These audits are costly and without impact to the root cause of the problem. EteleSolv provides a clear methodology for eliminating this costly manual audit cycle. TeleManager provides an automated system which conducts electronically audits every month. EteleSolv optimizes both your business processes and costs. This goes well beyond simple invoice management."
Does EteleSolv pay invoices on behalf of customers?
No. EteleSolv does not provide this service. TeleManager does however provide detailed electronic chargeback and payment reports, as well as necessary tax files to help customers pay invoices directly.
Can you help me with a request for proposal (RFP) or request for information (RFI)?
No. EteleSolv is a software company. Existing clients can use the data stored in TeleManager to report on usage history and costs. This information can be used by customers to prepare RFPs.
Do you do invoice auditing?
TeleManager provide the technology for companies to perform audits, quickly and electronically. Clients determine if they are able to do this in-house or if they wish to engage a consulting partner. In either case, TeleManager acts as the data repository during this process and provides reporting on invoices that are not matched to existing contracts, employees or cost centers.
Do you track invoice credits owed?
Yes. Following installation, TeleManager is able to track all service changes and march them to invoice charges. Changes that have not been applied are flagged, can be followed and re-submitted for correction, using the application.
Do you recover costs on errors?
TeleManager reports errors and the customer takes action to solve them through the software. Major cost recoveries, requiring manual follow-up, are reported and can easily and accurately be completed by the customer.
Why is managing inventory more important than the invoice?
Inaccurate invoices are symptomatic of an inaccurate inventory. It has been proven that reconciling your invoices to a centralized inventory vastly increases the opportunities for savings. It also reduces your reliance on carrier data. Because carriers have no visibility into customer cost centers or employee movement, they run the risk of providing inaccurate reporting. Systems that rely purely on invoice data, assume that the carrier’s invoice reflects the customer’s reality. These systems are missing up to 40% of potential operational savings.
What does EteleSolv need to start processing invoices?
EteleSolv requires all clients to sign a non-disclosure agreement and letter of agency, providing EteleSolv read-only access to company information. In general each carrier has its own method for transmitting electronic data. Some have granted EteleSolv back-end access to invoicing data, by-passing what clients normally receive, improving the timeliness and overall integration to TeleManager.
Will EteleSolv share my information with my carriers and/or other customers?
"No. All information stored within TeleManager belongs to the customer. This includes, but is not limited to, contract details, airtime rates, employee information, call details, and invoices. TeleManager customers include large banks, government organizations, and other highly private and secure companies who regularly perform information audits for policy compliance, ITIL, & Sarbanes-Oxley. EteleSolv provides enhanced security for large companies to host TeleManager internally, as part of their corporate infrastructure. This approach ensures TeleManager is subject to the same policies as any ERP or other mission critical application. EteleSolv regularly conducts information privacy audits to ensure our standards meet or exceed those of our customers."
Does TeleManager share information between competitors?
No. TeleManager is designed to provide enterprise clients the ability to view multiple carriers, in a single unified view. However, this information is not available to carriers. TeleManager provides carrier-specific access, as part of our mandate to ensure supply chain integration, and clean data exchange. This process is secure, and significantly reduces manual data entry, miscommunication, and errors for both clients and carriers.
Does EteleSolv receive a commission from carriers?
No. EteleSolv works on a referral model and carriers are compensated for providing an introduction. Given the complex IT nature of installing TeleManager, all client opportunities are led by EteleSolv.
Why doesn’t EteleSolv offer telecom consulting?
EteleSolv is a technology company, and must remain neutral. Recommending suppliers or conducting contingency audits are conflicts of interest against our partners.
Do you work on contingency (percentage savings)?
No. EteleSolv is never in the position to reduce invoice costs. TeleManager is a software solution and charges on a per unit basis (>2000 assets) or flat price model. Savings that result from automating processes or identifying and correcting exceptions are a result of our clients using TeleManager information to make their own decisions.

What is EteleSolv’s mission?
EteleSolv’s mission is to be the leader of hosted solutions for telecom expense management (TEM), by offering superior technology and rapid deployment.
What is TeleManager?
TeleManager is a web-based software solution that integrates with many data sources to help companies control multiple telecom services, suppliers, assets, and invoices.
How did the ‘EteleSolv’ get its name?
EteleSolv stands for “Solving Telecom Electronically”.

What is Telecom Expense Management (TEM)?
TEM is the industry term for a wide range of solutions designed to manage a company’s telecom network. This industry counts over three hundred solution providers. TeleManager is uniquely positioned as an "inventory-centric" TEM software solution. EteleSolv competes directly with only a handful companies that have taken this advanced approach.
What is Wireless Expense Management (WEM)?
WEM is the industry term for wireless management tools. These tools are designed for small companies looking to perform regular plan optimizations. In larger companies these tools are less effective since corporate rate plans and pooling reduce the need for plan optimization and reduce savings potential.
